One of the primary professions in World of Warcraft which has been appreciated and chosen by a lot of players is Alchemy. This Alchemy guide will show you what you need to level your skill up to 450.
The first thing you are going to need are herbs. This is why you’d better choose Herbalism as your gathering profession. This is not a must, but in case you don’t choose Herbalism, you’ll need a lot of gold to buy the herbs you need to advance your levels. If you’re short on gold, you can either buy it or do your best to gather it inside the game.
Like in all other trades, you have to start by becoming an Apprentice Alchemy – for this, you need to seek a trainer in one of the old Azeroth cities. If you have the Path 2.3, Alchemy professors can train you up to the skill level of 300, which is Artisan. Trainers are non-playing characters, also called NPCs for convenience, like vendors, innkeepers, flight masters or guards. This means that you can interact with them regardless the faction you’re in, Horde or Alliance.
For 1-60 levels, you need to gather 59 minor healing potions which are sold for the price of 5 gold. Also get 59 empty vials, 59 Sliverleaf and 59 peacebloom, because you’ll use them at the next levels.
For 60 – 140, Alchemy Journeyman, 50 minor healing potions and 50 briarthorn will make 50 lesser healing potions which would see you to level 110. Then you need 30 healing potions (30 briarthorn, 30 bruiseweed and 30 leaded vials) and you’re done.
